Ibrahimovic: I've never known anything like Caen catastrophe

Ibrahimovic: I've never known anything like Caen catastrophe

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was dumbstruck after Paris Saint-Germain's calamitous draw with Caen, revealing that he has never been involved in a stranger game.

The French champions led 2-0 at the interval at the Parc des Princes, with the Sweden striker opening the scoring before Ezequiel Lavezzi doubled the home side's advantage before the break.

However, after losing five players to injury, PSG had to play the final 10 minutes with just nine men. They conceded twice in the closing stages, thus blowing the chance to go top of Ligue 1.

"I've never known anything like it," Ibrahimovic said. "We lost two points but we were really unlucky.
"I scored early but it has no importance now because we did not win."

Though one of PSG's injury victims, Blaise Matuidi, is expected to make a rapid recovery from a knock to his knee, team-mates Serge Aurier, Lucas Moura, Marquinhos and Yohan Cabaye have already been ruled out of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Chelsea.

Consequently, the normally confident Ibrahimovic was reluctant to make any bold predictions about the outcome of the last-16, first-leg clash in Paris.

"We'll see what happens," the striker added.
